Surrender

The current surrender fee is $65 per male & $100 female per female guinea pig. The surrender fee covers the cost of spay/neuter, housing, food, and veterinary care until a permanent home can be found.

Unfortunately Pudgy Piggie Rescue is at maximum capacity. Finding a safe place to rehome is such a struggle in this area. We hope more small rescues can open in the future to help support our community. Below are the top rehoming options: 

• SPCA - often have a fee to help cover expenses and may have a wait list.

• Your Local Animal Control - have a network of small rescues and facilities that help support them if piggies are surrendered.

• Guineapigfinder.com and Petfinder.com - allows profiles to be posted for adoption. We suggest that a fee is listed to prevent piggies being taken for snake food.
